Adopt a Rescued Pet?

Adopting a pet not only provides your family with a loving companion but provides a rescued pet with a forever home.

Prior to adoption an ARFSGC rescue will have received any needed medical care including vaccinations. We promise to be transparent with you regarding any behavior issues we notice or are reported to us about the pet you are considering.

We will work with you to make sure the pet you adopt will be a great addition to your family, and if you are ever unable to keep a pet you adopt from us we will work with you to find the pet a new forever home.

Adoption Information

We post adoptable pets on Pet Finder, Facebook and our website.

Some thinks to know:

  • If a pet is posted we are accepting adoption applications for that pet.  We remove the pets once we have a sufficient number of adoption applications.
  • We will not ship a pet and are unable to allow puppies and/or kittens to be adopted outside of the United States.
  • We strive to find the very best home for our pets.  They are not adopted on a first come first serve basis.
  • Potential adopters must  complete an adoption application to be considered for a pet.  Unfortunately we are not able to allow meet and greets prior to receiving an application.  When we make a selection we will arrange a meet and greet for the applicant and pet.
  • If you adopt a puppy or kitten you will have to sign an adoption contract with a date when your pet must be spayed or neutered.  We will follow up with you to make sure this happens.
  • If you are unable to keep a pet adopted from ARFSGC, you are required to return the pet to us.
